Soon decades-old buses will vanish from the streets of the steel city and a low-floored fleet will roll in.

The phase-out move is aimed at fulfilling the guidelines set by the District Transport Office (DTO) as well as ensuring a comfortable ride for passengers. DTO has directed phasing out of 153 old buses this year.
