The 11th Annual Integrated Rating and Ranking of Power Distribution Utilities report has been released. As per the report, of the 57 discoms covered in the 11th Integrated Ratings, 46 saw improved scores. Notably, the scores improved by more than 5 per cent for 39 discoms. Further, 24 discoms saw grades improve, whereas only 1 discom has been downgraded. Of the balance 11 discoms with lower scores, 8 of them saw their scores decline by more than 5 per cent. The number of discoms awarded C or lesser grade have reduced from 35 to 21. The discoms which received the highest rating of A+ included private utilities such as Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited, Noida Power Company Limited, Tata Power Limited – Mumbai; state-owned discoms of Gujarat (4), Haryana (2), and DNH Power Distribution Corporation Limited.
