The purpose of Energy Provisions-2011 is to provide minimum requirements for energy-efficient design and construction of buildings. In the current scenario, energy has become a defining factor in the progress of nations. For Pakistan, it is absolutely imperative that improve energy efficiency in buildings by incorporating international best practices appropriate to environment, coupled with traditional materials, technologies and craftsmanship developed indigenously over a very long time.
