SCHOOLS in the Ohangwena and Omusati regions might be temporarily closed if the heavy rainfalls that have continued over the past few days do not stop.

TOMORROW is the United Nations world wildlife day and the Ministry of Environment and Tourism has dedicated it to the protection of rhinos and elephants whose survival is threatened by poachers.

THREE Zambians and a Namibian, the latter suspected to be a former policeman, were arrested last Friday after poaching a black rhino at the Erindi private game reserve near Omaruru.
