Ltd. Construction of a five-star banquet hall without the requisite ‘Consent to Establish’ has started, which is a violation of mining norms as well as ground water extraction norms and other required consents. The illegal activities are causing damage to the environment and the public health.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Jail Lal Vs State of Haryana dated 14/08/2019 regarding work of loading and unloading of highly inflammable material such as clinker, gypsum, cement at Railway Station, Khori, District Rewari, Haryana. This has affected the ecology of the area around the railway station and air pollution. An inspection report was filed by the Central Pollution Control Board on February 5, 2019 which suggested measures to control the pollution and which the Tribunal had asked the Railways to implement.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahendra Singh Vs State of Haryana & Others dated 24/07/2019 regarding illegal operation of stone crushers in District Mahendergarh, Haryana. The stone crushers are located near to plantation, reserved forest and educational institution. Further, the area suffers from scarcity of drinking water and if the stone crushers operate, the ground water would be illegally extracted.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Bhim Singh Vs M/s. Uni Product (Pvt. Ltd.) & Others dated 11/07/2019. Grievance in the application is that M/s Uni Product (Pvt. Ltd.) and M/s Golden Tex Private Limited are manufacturing carpets in District Rewari, Haryana. In the course of their working, carpet waste comprising of synthetic material was burnt causing air pollution. The said units also extract ground water using submersible motor of 25 HP for commercial purpose without any valid consent and without following any safeguards for recharge of the groundwater.
