The question is not of providing the package to the victims of gas tragedy rather emphasis should be given on avoiding similar tragedy in the coming future and it becomes the responsibility of the govt. to assure mass of state to it.

Bhopal: A judicial commission of inquiry will be constituted to go into all aspects of the Bhopal gas tragedy, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Wednesday.

The terms of reference of the commission and the name of the retired high court judge who will head it, will be decided soon, he told reporters here.

The state cabinet endorsed the proposal of establishing an Infrastructure Information Centre at the state Mantralaya through Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd. (without inviting tenders). Due to establishment of this centre, various important information can be obtained easily. This institution has established similar centres in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu as well.

The Bhopal Gas Peedit Nyay Morcha president Abdul Nafis informed that in support of the demand of compensation to gas victims a mammoth rally will be taken out on June 30 from Itwara and it will reach Lily Talkies and stage demonstration there.
