Valparai: Two elephants were found dead near a private estate in the Urulikal area of Valparai on Monday.
Officials suspect the animals might have died after consuming chemicals such as Furidon and Murrate of Potash stocked in a godown on the estate, which was raided by a herd of seven elephants.
