LUCKNOW: Entrepreneurship education is meant to provide knowledge and develop expertise to start and manage own independent enterprise. Students opting for PG Diploma in Management Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM-BE) course are guided to work on detailed project report and emerge with bankable business plan after completion of classroom training.
A sum of Rs 10.82 crore has been released for academic activities in the district for 2009-10 under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme.
A meeting of the SSA district implementation committee chaired by Zilla Panchayat President S N Rajarao here on Monday approved an action plan in this regard.
The World Bank has expressed interest in supporting the newly launched Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) scheme for improvement of quality of secondary education in the country.
The Ministry of HRD has agreed to the proposal of the World Bank and has written to Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) for further action, DEA sources said.
