Some startling revelations on the perceptions of Bangalore school students about the City have come to the fore in a unique survey carried out by the Children's Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA), a forum for school children.

Come December 4 and the Margao Municipal Council will kick off an intensive campaign across the Commercial Capital to create awareness amongst the citizens on waste segregation and door-to-door garbage collection.
The campaign is intended to bring about awareness on waste segregation as the civic body will start door-to-door garbage collection from six municipal wards from January 1, 2009.
