As many as 329 villages have been electrified during the 10th Five Years Plan and in last three years of the 11th Five Years Plan in Madhya Pradesh. During the period, 11 thousand 415 electrified villages have been intensively electrified and electricity lines have been laid upto all the majaras and tolas there.
The works for the constructions of bridges, railway over bridges and under bridges by Public Works Department (PWD) in order to reduce traffic congestion are in progress in the state.
