Wind energy projects of 1,300 MW capacity to be set up in MP

BHOPAL: Wind energy projects of 1,300 MW capacity will be set up in the state by December 2014, according to a press release here on Tuesday. One hundred MW power will be generated by biomass projects as well, according to State department New and Renewable Energy.

It said that apart from solar cookers, the Energy Development Corporation is also installing rooftop solar plants. Renewable energy shops, which were held at district-level till now, are being held at development block-level also.
