Grievance in this application is against the illegal sale and constructions over land reserved for park and open spaces in violation of the Meerut Master Plan 2021, in utter disregard of provisions of U.P. Parks and Play Ground and Open Spaces (Preservation and Regulation) Act, 1974, which poses a serious threat to the environment of the area.

Inspection report of Joint Committee in Original Application 54/2020 in the matter of Ambattur lake pollution in Ambattur taluk of Thiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu.

The National Green Tribunal, Southern Zone, Chennai had directed a Joint Committee to look into the matter and submit a report on the removal of encroachment and steps taken to prevent discharge of untreated sewage into the lake and save the lake from pollution.

Report filed by the Joint Committee constituted on the NGT order of December 10, 2019 regarding restoration of a waterbody Palkeni Kulam, Pallavaram, Tamil Nadu dated 11/01/2021.

In a meeting of the Committee it was decided that the Tahsildar, Pallavaram would remove the encroachments around the waterbody and take steps to allot alternative accommodations for the 111 encroachers in the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board tenements in Padappai.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Joydeep Mukherjee Vs Union of India & Others dated 06/01/2021. The matter related to the delay in completing the STP and sewerage network project for Siliguri, West Bengal.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Sushil Raghav Vs Union of India & Others dated 05/01/2021. The application sought execution of the NGT order of September 20, 2016. The NGT had directed that encroachments on  khasra numbers 948, 514, 1419, 1316, 1422, 1445, 1446 and 1456 were illegal as per revenue records it was a pond. Thus, all encroachments should be removed.
