BERHAMPUR: Maoists have started to terrorise construction companies involved in construction of roads in remote areas of Kandhamal district under the Pradhan Mantri Gramya Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).

Survey of all-weather roads in the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh is currently on. The roads have been built under the CM's rural road scheme and their inspection is being carried out on foot. The roads under this scheme are to be completed in four years duration ie till 2013.
