The matter related to encroachment of government land at village Haiderpur, Delhi and its demarcation. The encroachment was removed and the area was demarcated said the report.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satish Kumar Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 06/08/2019 regarding encroachment on government land at Khasra No. 216-217-964/2018, revenue estate of village Haiderpur, Delhi. Through its order of December 2018, the Tribunal had sought a report from the DDA. The DDA said that the area under the North MCD and the MCD was asked to submit a factual and action taken report.

The matter relates to two writ petitions filed before the High Court of Delhi which were transferred to NGT. One petition was filed by Mr. Satish Kumar resident of village Mundka, New Delhi alleging environment pollution caused by burning of plastic, leather, rubber, motor engine oil and other waste materials and continuous operation of illegal industrial units dealing with such articles on agricultural lands in village Mundka, New Delhi.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satish Kumar Vs Union of India & Others dated 12/12/2013 regarding environmental pollution caused by burning of plastic, leather, rubber, motor engine oil and such other waste materials and continuous operation of illegal industrial units dealing with such articles on agricultural lands in village Mundka, New Delhi.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satish Kumar Vs Union of India & Ors. regarding plastic collection and burning in the area of Mundka and Nangloi villages of Delhi dated 20/05/2013. NGT directs the Police to ensure that no plastic is burnt in that area nor any plastic waste is carried out from that area.
