Construction would involve cutting of trees and disturbance of forest land. Quarrying along the hill is destroying the bio-diversity, forest and affecting the water bodies. It is submitted that to prevent further destruction of bio-diversity and the hills, there is need to debar any further construction adjacent to hill slopes and hilltops.
