A report was sought from the UP Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, Mahoba with reference to the allegation of violation of environmental norms by operation of stone crushers run by M/s Prayag Raj Granite, M/s Paras Granite, M/s Krishna Granite Works, M/s R.B. Associate, M/s Arihant Granite and M/s Ravi Granite in Mahoba.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Madan Pal Singh & Others Vs Uttar Pradesh State Pollution Control Board & Others dated 31/05/2019 regarding illegal stone crusher units being run near agricultural land in violation of environmental norms in District Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Confederation of Trans Hindan RWA’s Ghaziabad Vs U. P. State Pollution Control Board & Others dated 28/05/2019 regarding inaction of the Municipal Corporation Ghaziabad in complying with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016, in not collecting garbage from Indirapuram, Vasundhara and Vaishali which is being dumped at Shakti Khand, adversely affecting the air quality. Report received by the Tribunal from the State PCB acknowledges that garbage was being dumped in Shakti Khand and that there was no segregation of garbage.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Krishan Kant Singh & Others Vs Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board & Others dated 28/09/2015 regarding Ganga pollution.

The Tribunal has fixed 6th October, 2015 as the date for dealing with the first phase of cleaning of river Ganga. 

Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of M/s Blue Star Finishers Vs. U.P.P.C.B. dated 01/07/2015 regarding Ganga pollution caused by the tannery Blue Star Finishers, Wajidpur, Jajmau, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

The Tribunal also went through the joint inspection report which points out that the industry is processing 30 hides per day and electromagnetic flow meter has been installed to record the consumption of fresh water drawn from one bore-well.
