Public transport systems present an interesting situation wherein the primary objective is that of public service on a self sustaining basis. To achieve these diverse goals, organisations employ various mechanisms of control. This paper studies Karnataka  State Road Transport Corporation as an organisation from the point of view of the control systems that they have implemented at the ground level and their effectiveness.
