Child mortality rate in Bangladesh fell by an average 5.3 percent annually from 1993 to 2007 by providing excess care to the health of poor mothers.
During the period the country also achieved success in reducing gap between boys and girls prospects of survival, a report of the Save the Children said.
The report was released on Tuesday two-week before world leaders meeting in New York to discuss
