NEW DELHI: Racing against time and faced with the task of protecting the central ridge at all costs, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has carved out a 680-metre long tunnel under the ridge using innovative technology. The tunnel's final wall was broken on Monday. Unlikeall the other underground Delhi Metro lines in the Capital, this section has one large bore with a diameter of 8.2 metres.
