Metro to install solar power plant at Dwarka station
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Sunday said it was set to install a 500 kwp (kilowatt peak) “rooftop power plant” at the Dwarka Sector 21 station.
“This is the largest rooftop plant with such capacity in Delhi NCR region under the Resco model. Under this model, DMRC will pay for the units generated by the plant and the capital investment shall be provided by the developer,” DMRC managing director Mangu Singh said, adding it is the first ever such plant with a production capacity of 500 kwp.
