Switch to CNG/LPG: City autos unlikely to meet April 30 deadline
Pune It was seen as a move to reduce pollution in the city when the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) set an April-end deadline for all city autorickshaws to convert from petrol to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). It was a trade off for not reducing the autorickshaw rate for auto drivers, following the fall in petrol and diesel fare hike.
