In another crucial push for the metro and monorail projects in the MMR, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has received a go-ahead from the Thane Municipal Corporation for the portion of these projects falling in its jurisdiction.

With this clearance, the MMRDA will now prepare a detailed project report for two metro corridors
