State’s Population May Rise To 28 Crore By 2028

Lucknow:The United Nations on Friday said that the population of India is expected to surpass that of China by 2028, when both the countries will have around 145 crore people each. Uttar Pradesh, with 1/6 of India’s population, would be a major contributor to the population boom.
