This indicative plan has based on the work of field/park directors and their colleagues in the eight protected areas, and of various non-governmental organisations involved in carrying out PRA in the proposed project area. The final output has benefit greatly from the inputs of the various national consultants and consulting institutions, and from the critical comments and support of various state and central government officials. This document has also benefitted greatly from extensive discussions with members of the advisory committee and Project Tiger Steering Committee, and with World Bank and UNDp exprts.
