The rate of generation of waste has increased beyond the handling capacities of civic agencies responsible for collection and disposal of wastes. In order to assist MOEF in strengthening the relevant soild and hazardous waste management policies, regulations and institutional framework, Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats Private Ltd (ICT) has been entrusted to carry out the Environmental and Social Assessment (ESA) study funded by the World Bank.
