In exercise of powers conferred by section 15 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the following rules, for regulating the extraction of Minor Minerals namely: These rules may be called the Maharashtra Minor Mineral Extraction (Development and Regulation) Rules, 2013. These rules shall come into effect from the date as may be specified by the Government in the Official Gazette.
