Established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct), the Interagency Task Force on Radiation Source Protection and Security (Task Force) has made important progress since its 2006 report to the President and Congress to improve the security of domestic radioactive sources given the
enduring threat of terrorists seeking radioactive materials to attack the United States. The Task Force is pleased to note in this 2010 report the many accomplishments achieved over the past 4 years, including the closeout of a number of significant recommendations from the 2006 report.
