The world is facing challenges related to population growth, surface water scarcity, and more importantly, to the increasing dependency on shared groundwater resources. This book, which is a compilation of studies, representing the status of transboundary aquifers knowledge around the world, offers an attempt to depict a variety of assessments of transboundary aquifers in different regions of the world as well as some insights on policy development.
