DEHRADUN: Haridwar has emerged as the TB capital of the state with total 1,030 new cases detected in the last one year.

Uttarakhand has a thriving hotel industry, but there is only one food sample testing laboratory in all of the 13 districts of the state.

DEHRADUN: To curb malnutrition in Haridwar, the district administration has set up a number of health camps, in which over 3087 children in rural areas have been screened in the last two months.
