TIRUCHI: Tamil Nadu is the most critically affected among the Southern States owing to over exploitation of ground water resource, observed D.S.C.Thambi, Regional Director, Central Ground Water Board, Chennai, here on Wednesday.
Of the 385 blocks, over 142 blocks were over-exploited in the State.
Delhi urban development and finance minister A. K. Walia today underlined the need to find a permanent solution to the problem of accumulation of water at various places across M. B. Pushta Road.
He also made it clear that a feasible solution is a must otherwise a number of colonies around M.B.
