Department of Tourism has identified 10 acres of land near the popular Hogenakkal falls in the district for the development of eco-friendly tourism at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore.

CHAMARAJANAGAR: The State Government has released ` 20 crore for rejuvenation of 50 lakes in all four Assembly constituencies in the district.
