Kohima : Incessant medium to heavy downpour throughout Nagaland has caused landslides in all the districts and damaged roads, cultivated lands and other property over a month.

KOHIMA: Due to incessant rains, landslides occurred at various locations along the NH-39 between Dimapur and Kohima. With the onset of monsoon, it is anticipated that bigger slides may occur along this road. The Border Roads Organization has been working tirelessly to clear the slides as and when they occur.

Kohima: Flash floods following heavy downpour in Nagaland inundated many low-lying areas and caused soil erosion in river banks and landslides in hilly areas. According to an official report here today, the Chathe river caused soil erosion, damaging properties and rendering people living alongside the river homeless.
