The state government has sanctioned construction of 1301 kilometre long roads in Madhya Pradesh.

A project has been sanctioned to improve highways in the state with the assistance of Asian Development Bank under which 15 roads measuring 1080 kilometres will be built at a cost of Rs 707 crore.
