The Ministry of Mines has prepared the rules named “The Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016” for the provisions relating to grant and regulation of mineral concessions under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

This report presents the results of the Fraser Institute’s 2015 annual survey of mining and exploration companies. The survey is an attempt to assess how mineral endowments and public policy factors such as taxation and regulatory uncertainty affect exploration investment.
