Mehsana: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has embarked on a multi disciplinary team (MDT) approach in western onshore to mark the beginning of a unique organizational model to strengthen its focus on exploration and production.
The MDT model will work under the existing assets in the western onshore and depending on the outcome, the model will be rolled out in the entire company.

Of the 80 blocks offered, only 44 attracted bids

Bidding for the latest round of oil and coal bed methane (CBM) blocks closed today with a poor response from bidders. Government-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation got 14 blocks, the highest number.

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh achieved a significant breakthrough in its quest to have a pie in the Krishna-Godavari Basin when it successfully won the bid for oil and gas blocks through the eighth round of the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP) in the auction held in New Delhi on Monday.
