Construction of new roads and upgradation of certain inter-village routes in Manipur under the Centrally sponsored schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has started to change the lifestyles of several villagers.

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has decided to shift all the 700 families of Satabhaya village in Rajnagar block of Kendrapara district within the next three months because of sea erosion. All the families will be rehabilitated at Bagapatia near Gupti in the same district.

The Chief Secretary, Shri Avani Vaish reviewed the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana here today at a meeting at the Mantralaya. The Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development, Shri R. Parshuram also attended the meeting.
