ITANAGAR, June 15: The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, popularly known as PMGSY, a national initiative to achieve rural-road connectivity within a given time frame, was launched nationwide in December 2000. The objective is to provide all weather road connectivity to the hitherto unconnected habitations in the rural areas.
