Solar tracking pumps

As usage of solar energy is gathering momentum, the State government has decided to distribute 2,000 solar tracking motor pumps to farmers in Tamil Nadu.

Mahindra group's three-year-old foray into the solar power sector is in the midst of takeoff. The company says that it could set-up as much as 500 megawatts of solar power in the next 24-36 months. Officials said stagnant water is less preferred. At a watering spot with flowing water, not just Asiatic lions, even chital, sambar and other wild animals are seen more frequently.
