NGT directs District Magistrate, Mathura to file an affidavit mentioning the total number of STPs in City of Mathura, when was it established, its capacity, whether these STPs are equipped with updated technology and how much of waste is being treated by the STPs in the City of Mathura.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Gaurav Kumar Bansal Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 29/01/2018 regarding arsenic contamination of groundwater, Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent UP Jal Nigam submits that no water samples from borewells within the limits of Sambhal Nagar Palika were collected, and such water samples will be collected and analyzed in due course.

Counsel appearing for the State of Uttar Pradesh submits that the Notification dated 2nd November, 2017 is for a very limited purpose by which land owners of agriculture land would be permitted to remove the sand deposits as a result of flood and it does not permit any mining activity as such.

Counsel appearing for the State of Uttar Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board submit that they will do every possible preventive and precautionary measures to ensure that the ambient air quality in Muradabad City meets the prescribed standards or atleast is not of seriously polluting or hazardous.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashish Dixit Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. dated 18/08/2017 regarding pollution of ponds and water bodies in District Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. NGT directs the State of Uttar Pradesh along with the concerned local authorities to identify all the water bodies in Lucknow and the same shall be put on the website of the said agencies as well as UPPCB. They shall be kept in public domain as well.

Judgement of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Rakesh Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 13/07/2017 regarding unauthorized constructions in a park in Block-G, Sector-44, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Applicant has also requested for removal of all broken stones/mulba dumped by Noida Authority and to maintain the green belt for the benefit of all the residents of the Sector.
