Gautam Sharma, resident of village Haji Mohammadpur Kotkadar, tehsil Nagina, district Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh through his letter petition complained that illegal mining of sand and murram was being done in the area of river Khoh.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Arvind Kumar & Others Vs Central Pollution Control Board & Others dated 15/09/2020. Grievance in this application was against unscientific dumping of waste at main road of village Changipur, district Bijnor by the Municipal Council, Noorpur. The waste included carcasses which was resulting in foul and obnoxious smell and also air and land pollution. As per the information received from the State Forest Department of Uttar Pradesh, six persons have lost their lives in man-leopard conflict in Bijnaur District of Uttar Pradesh during the year 2019-2020.

The Uttar Pradeh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) and the District Magistrate, Bijnor was directed by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to look into the matter and submit a report within a period of one month.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Residents of Gram Panchayat Aladdinpur Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 09/10/2018. Proceedings have been initiated in this matter on a letter alleging that power-loom in Village Allouddinpur Seohara, Tehsil Dhampur, District Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, is creating pollution in the process of weaving and washing the clothes by using chemicals which are damaging the human and animal life. The activities are creating skin problems and other diseases in the area.

Bijnor: Forest department here has issued notices to all 18 municipalities of Bijnor district for dumping and burning garbage in the jungle and along roadsides in the protected areas.
