In compliance with the orders of the National Green Tribunal (NGT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, the government of Uttar Pradesh constituted a high level technical committee headed by  a neurovirologist from NIMHANS, Bengaluru, along with nominees from the Pollution Control Board, Indian Council of Medical Research, Animal Husbandry and Health and Family Welfare Department.

The application was filed requesting for issue of directions to the state of Uttar Pradesh to conduct a replenishment study of all rivers in district Saharanpur and prepare a fresh District Survey Report in compliance with the (Enforcement & Monitoring Guidelines for Sand Mining) EMGSM 2020 after duly considering the results of the replenishment study. Further, quash and set-aside the District Survey Report for district Saharanpur prepared in 2017.

Joint Committee report in compliance to the National Green Tribunal (NGT) order (Original Application No. 166/2022 Santosh Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others).

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Shailesh Singh Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 12/05/2022.

The application seeks execution of NGT order, March 18, 2021 whereby directions were issued for remedial action against pollution by the polluting industrial activities discharging polluted effluents in river Bhella which meets Kosi river in Rampur, which is a tributary of Ramganga, which in turn is a tributary of river Ganga.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Ashu Chauhan Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 11/05/2022.

Grievance in the application is against running of around 30 jaggery making units (Kolhu) in village Badka, tehsil Baraut, district Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh, without following environmental norms.

The NGT, February 2, 2022 had sought factual report in the mattr from a joint Committee of CPCB, SPCB, Secretary-Small Scale Industry, Government of Uttar Pradesh and the District Magistrate, Bagpat.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Suresh Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 11/05/2022.

The application sought execution of the NGT order, May 24, 2021 (O.A No. 107/2021, Suresh Kumar Vs. State of Uttar Pradesh & Ors). The matter was illegal sand mining in submerged water area at Khand No. 20/7, village Tikapur, tehsil Maudaha, district Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh by M/s. Ambey Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. in violation of Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guidelines (SSMMG), 2016 and Enforcement and Monitoring Guidelines for Sand Mining (EMGSM), 2020.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Raj Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh & Others dated 06/05/2022.

Grievance in the applications is against illegal mining in village Kanwara and Bendakhadar, district Banda, Uttar Pradesh. It is said that the mining is in violation of Sustainable Sand Mining Management Guidelines (SSMMG), 2016 and Enforcement and Monitoring Guidelines for Sand Mining (EMGSM), 2020.

Grievance in the application is against illegal operation of slaughter house by M/s HMA Agro Industries Limited, Talaspur Khurd, Mathura, Bypass road, tehsil Kol, district Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, in spite of closure order under the Water Act 1974 by the SPCB, July 7, 2020.
