Allahabad High Court relaxed the ban on immersion of Goddess Durga idols only for this year in the rivers Ganga and Yamuna and permitted the district administration to carry out programme of routes for immersion of idols for different Barwaries and ensure that immersion may take place at new site as well as at old site.
