Pune Managing director of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) E Sreedharan has stated that the state government should take a lead in implementation of Metro rail project in Pune, as the project could not be accomplished through the efforts of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) alone. Sreedharan was replying to the letter from city-based Professionals Party of India.
