THERE IS A BROAD AGREEMENT AMONG the 192 nations that were represented at Barcelona that the best way to limit the damage to the planet is to cut emission of greenhouse gases. The problem is that barely a month away from Copenhagen, there is no concurrence on how to reduce emissions, neither is there any agreement on how much or who will undertake the reduction.

THE Posco review panel on Monday submitted a "split verdict" on the South Korean steel maker's Orissa project.
