The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on 3rd November 2022, has notified the Environment (Protection) Third Amendment Rules, 2022 which shall come into force from 1st July 2023.

The Ministry of Environment, forest and climate change on 2nd November 2022, has published the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022 which shall come into force from the 1st day of April, 2023.

The environment ministry has directed the constitution of a project screening committee in each state/UT for an initial review proposals involving diversion of forest land, according to this Forest (Conservation) Rules, 2022.

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change on 31st May 2022, has published the Draft Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2022 which shall come into force after one year from the date of publication of final notification in the Official Gazette.
