Anil Grover, Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the State of Haryana, has assured the SC that needful would be done to stop further damage.

A report was sought from the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) with reference to the allegation of illegal extraction of groundwater and discharge of polluted water with dyes and chemicals into the drain by the National Woollen & Finishers at Plot No. 302, Sector 29, Part-II, Panipat, Haryana.

The unit was found to be extracting ground water without Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) permission.

The order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Vinod Kumar Bansal Vs State of Haryana dated 28/07/2020. The issue for consideration was the remedial action against unscientific handling of solid waste at Dabwali, district Sirsa, Haryana.

Report on behalf of Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) in compliance of National Green Tribunal order of November 1, 2019. The matter related to illegal operation of M/s Kaimi Rice Mills (also called M/s Tirthankar Rice Mills), Fatehabad Road, Ratia, District Fatehabad. During inspection, it was found that the unit was engaged in manufacturing of kachcha rice, covered under the green category.

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Arjun Singh Vs Central Pollution Control Board & Others dated 07/07/2020. Grievance in this application is that M/s RDC Concrete India Pvt. Ltd., Faridabad is operating in violation of environmental norms. Ground water is also being extracted without requisite permission. Such operation is adversely affecting the environment. No action has been taken by the authorities.
