May 13: In all, 56 fresh cases of diarrhoea and vomiting were reported at the government hospitals in the city on Wednesday.
Among them, only four patients at Gandhi Hospital and one at Osmania Hospital are from Bholakpur, said the health officials.
The new patients came from places like Moula Ali, Naryanguda and other parts of the city.

May 13: Unknown persons pumped kerosene into a drinking water pipeline at Venkatadri Colony in Kurnool town on Wednesday, causing panic.
It was at 11 am that the municipal authorities supplied water to Venkatadri Colony residents. But those who consumed the water found that it smelt and tasted like kerosene.

There are 80 service reservoirs in the city where water is brought from the source and stored before being supplied to the citizens.

May 12: The disease outbreak in Bholakpur seem-ed out of control with one more person succumbing and 53 fresh cases of diarrhoea and vomiting being reported on Tuesday. The toll in eight days of cholera in Bholakpur in the city now stands at 13.

May 12: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board denied the reports that the employees of its quality wing had fudged water quality reports pertaining to the Bholakpur incident.
In a clarification given on Tuesday, the PRO of the water board said that there was no fudging of reports.
