Community-based food banks in remote rural areas of Dinajpur district are gaining popularity for minimising food insecurity and alleviating poverty of the ultra-poor.
At least eight people were killed and over 9,000 houses damaged as storms lashed Dinajpur, Joypurhat, Rangpur and Nilphamari districts on Saturday night.
