Asia's largest single location solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant with a generation capacity of 55 MW was commissioned on Wednesday.

Solairedirect Energy India Pvt Ltd, a unit of Paris-based solar engineering firm Solairedirect Group on Wednesday inaugurated a 5.6 MW solar park under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). This is the company's first project in India.
