Ahmedabad: The first lion census after the poaching incidents of 2007, will be held in the peak of summer in April this year and for the first time will cover at least four districts, the area estimated as the lion spread since the last census of 2005.

Talala (Junagadh): A mild tremor was felt in Talala taluka of Junagadh district on Wednesday morning. According to sources, the tremor was felt at 8.32 am and lasted for a few seconds. No damages to life or property were reported.
Met department sources said the tremor measured at 2 on the Richter scale and the epicentre was 15 km away in the north-west direction of the town.
